The region is a landscape shaped by the ice age with the two great lakes. It is an important habitat for plants and animals.<\/p>\n<p>The town of Tutzing, which was a simple fishing village until the 19th century, is located on Lake Starnberg and is very easy to reach by car or public transportation.
