Due to the train station in the village, which is served by the S-Bahn Munich, by regional trains of the Deutsche Bahn and also by ICE trains, Tutzing is very easy to reach by train. The ICE stop, unique in the entire Five-Lakes Region, represents an enormously important cornerstone for tourism development in our tourist area.

The train connections are based on the general timetable of the Deutsche Bahn or the timetable of the Münchner Verkehrsverbund.


Tutzing is also very easy to reach by car. The district of Starnberg is well connected to the A95 freeway via the A952 feeder road. If you follow the signs on the subsequent Bundesstraße 2 in the direction of Weilheim as far as Traubing, you turn off there in the direction of Tutzing and reach your destination after a few kilometers.

Arrival by train: Tutzing is the terminus of an S-Bahn line from Munich as well as a stop for trains to and from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Kochel.
