Lake Starnberg, formerly called Würmsee, is Bavaria’s second largest lake, about 20 km long and more than 5 km wide at Tutzing.
With excellent water quality, various water activities are offered: from relaxing
swimming and bathing
in the lake to
sailing regattas
in Olympic and international classes. Windsurfing, stand-up paddling, catamaran sailing, rowing, electric boating and sailing events with experienced skippers are on offer. You can launch your own boats free of charge at the public boat launch in the center of the village.
Anglers
can rent a boat or try their fishing luck from the jetty.
