Former lime ditch with tufa and stalactite caves destroyed during the construction of the railroad in 1865. Today natural monument Waldschmidtschlucht – called after the poet of the Bavarian Forest Maximilian Schmidt – or Siebenbrückenweg
Garatshausen Castle
Built before 1550, owned by the von Thurn und Taxis family since 1887. The new part of the castle with today’s district old people’s home has been owned by the district of Starnberg since the 2nd World War.
Villa Albers
1859 built “Rose Villa” and former castle administrator’s house on the former Calvary, bought Hans Albers in 1933 and lived there until his death in 1960. Since the death of his partner Hansi Burg owned by the Free State.
Last cross
from the group on the former Calvary (Villa Albers), supposedly stands across the path to allow the Christ figure to see the old location.
Villa (castle) Seewies
Built in 1912 for the director of the Russian Lloyd Company in St. Petersburg, Gustav Chernikov.
